The day you ate this meal. It follows the day you are viewing; you can log past days, but not future ones.

When you started eating. Optional — filling it in sorts the meals by time and will line up with your fasting window later.

Which meal of the day this was. It only groups the entries for easier reading — pick "Other" if none fits.

🧮 Work it out from the food

Not sure of the macros? Start typing the food -- it searches from the first letter, in Thai or English. Pick the food and an amount, press "Add to this meal", and the totals drop into the carb/protein/fat fields below. Add as many items as the meal had.

The small badge after a food in the results says where that row's numbers came from. They are not all equally exact.
  • USDA From USDA FoodData Central, with the reference number, so it can be checked
  • Thai DoH From the Food Composition Table of Thai Foods, Thai Department of Health 2018, with its food ID and page number
  • From the brand From the nutrition panel the brand publishes itself -- not a central laboratory. Panel figures are rounded as the law requires, so they are coarser than a composition table, and a recipe can change, which is why the badge carries the date it was read
  • Thai beverage assoc. From the label database published by the Thai Beverage Industry Association. The figures are the manufacturers' own, but the publisher is not the brand, and that site has been found printing figures that contradict themselves -- so every row kept here was checked one at a time. The badge carries the date it was read, because a recipe can change

Pick "grams" if you weighed it, or the food's own household unit — a scoop, an egg, a piece — which appears here by itself when the food has one. The figure in brackets is what one of that unit weighs. A rough estimate still beats logging nothing.

Mostly reference values per 100 g. Every row carries a badge saying where its numbers came from — press the ⓘ beside "Food" to see what each badge means. Home cooking varies a lot: the oil in the pan alone moves fat by 10 g, so trust a packet label over this and edit the fields below freely.

A short note on what you ate. The calculator above fills this in for you, and you can overwrite it any time — it is what makes old entries meaningful when you look back.

These three are what actually get saved, in grams. Type them yourself, or let the calculator above fill them in and adjust after. Leave a field blank or 0 if it does not apply — but at least one must be above 0.
